The French maison of haute jewellery Van Cleef & Arpels opened its first space in the Portuguese market in a historic building on Avenida de Liberade.
Founded in Paris’ Place Vendôme in 1906, Van Cleef & Arpels currently operates nearly fifty boutiques all over the world. Now, it has just opened its first space in Portugal, at number 204 of the iconic Lisbon avenue. Explaining in a statement that “in recent years, the size of stores located in the main capitals has grown in order to enrich the customer experience”, the brand underlines that this first boutique in Lisbon “opens a window to the enchanted world of Van Cleef & Arpels”, welcoming you in a “spacious and luminous” environment.
Installed in a space of 200sq m, the boutique is formed by a set of rooms decorated in beige and gold tones, which contrast with the matt black furniture of Art Deco inspiration. Throughout the halls, separated by panels decorated with gold leaf, the visitor is invited to discover the different creations of Van Cleef & Arpels, displayed in dark green lined windows.
