Turkish Jewellery Exporters' Association has appointed a representative to the region to promote the Turkish jewellery industry in Mexico and to provide free consultancy to companies that want to enter the Mexican jewellery market.
Turkish Jewellery Exporters' Association, in line with its vision of expanding the global network of the Turkish jewellery industry, has started to establish regional representations in target country markets. Turkish Jewellery Exporters' Association, which opened its first representative office in Mexico, appointed Nihan Şerifoğlu, with her seven years of experience in the jewellery industry, as the Mexico Regional Representative.
Şerifoğlu will undertake the tasks of representing and promoting the Turkish brand in Mexico, inviting Mexican jewellery buyers to fairs and delegations in Türkiye, and developing new relations in the region. Mexico Regional Representative Şerifoğlu will also provide free consultancy services to member companies aiming to enter the Mexican jewellery market.
Burak Yakin, Chairman of Turkish Jewellery Exporters' Association, stated that they see a great potential for the development of export relations with Mexico and said, "We increased our total exports by %119 by making an export attack in Mexico in the first six months of 2022. We increased our market share in Mexico from 1% to 3%. We exported more than 80 million dollars. In order to maintain this momentum and expand our market share here, we encourage more companies to export, and we are making new breakthroughs to deliver our products to more buyers.
