Bulova Unveils New Precisionist X Sport

This is marking a decade of innovation in design and technology.

NEW YORK — Since its debut, Precisionist exhibited advanced timekeeping at its best — fusing distinctive, bold architectural design with the world’s most advanced chronograph featuring a continuously sweeping second hand. Recently marking 10 years of Precisionist technology, Bulova reinvents the Precisionist aesthetic with a revolutionary new design, now in a sport version.

The Precisionist X Sport styles feature Bulova’s state-of-the-art proprietary 262kHz movement keeping precise timing up to 1/1000th of a second for unparalleled timekeeping in an analog timepiece. Bulova offers three models in a distinct and unexpected octagonal 45x47mm case shape with the top ring of the case left unbracketed to fully reveal the signature Precisionist X multilayered chronograph dial.

Two models feature grey stainless steel cases on either a black sporty EPDM rubber strap with black dial and red accents or on a blue EPDM rubber strap with blue dial and rose gold accents, priced at $975. The third model is offered in stainless steel with a matching multi-link bracelet and rich blue dial, priced at $995. All models include a calendar window, curved sapphire crystal and water resistance to 300m.

“We are delighted to expand our new Precisionist X collection, which is an updated interpretation of our classic Precisionist,” said Jeffrey Cohen, president of Citizen Watch America. “This new rendition offers a sportier look while still maintaining that extraordinary and larger than life visual aesthetic.”
